Specialises in
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions. I provide a full range of treatments, from joint preservation through to primary and revision joint replacement, supporting patients with both routine and complex conditions.
My practice includes hip replacement surgery using muscle-sparing techniques, as well as knee replacement and arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures for sports injuries, cartilage damage and meniscal problems. I also treat arthritis and joint pain using both surgical and non-surgical approaches, including targeted injections to help reduce pain and improve mobility.
I have a particular interest in complex hip and knee conditions, including joint deformities and patients who require revision surgery following previous procedures. I use advanced techniques, including computer-assisted and robotic surgery, to support accuracy and outcomes where appropriate.
I also have an interest in knee surgery offering treatment for sports injuries as well as arthritis. I perform knee infiltrations, arthroscopy, cartilage and meniscal repairs and resection.
I am specialised in computer navigated knee replacement for knee joint deformities as well as complex joint reconstruction following previous surgeries.
I specialise in Arthrosamid® injections, iliotibial band release for lateral thigh pain syndrome and trochanteric bursitis, robot-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery.
My approach focuses on clear communication, personalised treatment planning and helping patients return to mobility and everyday activities as quickly and safely as possible.
I completed my specialist orthopaedic training in Europe before continuing my career in the UK. I have undertaken advanced fellowship training in complex hip and knee surgery at leading centres in Oxford, Hamburg and Plymouth.
