Following my graduation from Manchester University in 1999, I spent 5 years gaining experience in a wide variety of surgical specialties in the Greater Manchester region.
In 2005 I made the move across the Pennines and spent the next 6 years as a Specialist Registrar in Orthopaedics honing my skills as a surgeon in many of the local hospitals in Yorkshire including 1 year at Pinderfields. I undertook a specialist knee surgery fellowship in Sheffield in 2010 working alongside 2 of the UK's most renowned knee surgeons. There I spent one year learning in depth surgical techniques for all aspects of knee surgery. I was then appointed as consultant with a special interest in knee surgery in October 2010.
I am now focused on developing a gold standard knee service for the Mid Yorkshire area.
