Professional profile

Mr Mather graduated from University of Oxford in 2000. He trained in surgery in East Yorkshire and joined the Yorkshire Higher Surgical Training Programme in Plastic Surgery in 2007 following a year studying for an MSc in Sports Exercise Medicine in Nottingham.

He furthered his expertise in the fields of hand and cosmetic surgery with the National Fellowships in Hand Surgery and Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Oxford and Yorkshire respectively in 2012-2013.

In 2013 he started working as a Consultant at Pinderfields Hospital and has developed interests in hand surgery and body contouring surgery following massive weight loss.
