I am a Consultant Dermatologist at Spire Methley Park Hospital and Dewsbury Clinic, caring for both adults and children with a wide range of skin conditions. My areas of expertise include general dermatology, inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer, with a particular interest in inflammatory skin conditions affecting skin of colour. I am committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care and believe in working closely with my patients so they feel informed, supported and involved in decisions about their treatment.
I diagnose and treat a broad range of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin infections, benign skin lesions and skin cancer. I also assess moles and perform a variety of dermatological procedures, including punch biopsies, excision of skin cancers and cysts, and curettage and cautery for benign lesions such as warts and skin tags.
I completed my dermatology training within the West Yorkshire Deanery and undertook a fellowship at the internationally renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology, where I gained additional specialist experience in managing complex inflammatory skin diseases. Alongside my private practice, I work as a Consultant Dermatologist at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, treating both routine and complex dermatological conditions and performing regular dermatological surgery.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education, research and training. I supervise junior doctors and dermatology trainees, contribute to teaching programmes and regularly present at national and international meetings. I have received the British Society for Medical Dermatology Trainee Award and a European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Educational Grant, and I have published research in peer-reviewed journals.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, exploring different cultures and discovering new food experiences. I also enjoy watching documentaries and keeping active through reformer Pilates.
