I am a Consultant Neurologist with five years' experience in the NHS at Pinderfields Hospital, having completed by medical and neurology training in the West Yorkshire region.
My special interest lies in nerve and muscle disorders, which led me to lead the Neuromuscular Service at Pinderfields General Hospital. However, I also diagnose and manage a range of general neurological conditions such as headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, tremors, dizziness, autoimmune neurological disorders, and multiple sclerosis diagnoses'.
I believe in a patient-centred approach to my practice, where empathy and communication are paramount alongside evidence-based medicine. Over the years, I have received consistently positive feedback from my patients, reflecting their satisfaction with the care they have received. Many have praised my thorough and clear explanations, empowering them in their healthcare decisions.
As the lead for the Action and Performance team for Neurology, I focus on improving the efficiency of our neurology clinic. We monitor the performance of the outpatient clinic and ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for our patients.
