Specialises in

I have had most of my postgraduate surgical training in the North West of England, after completing my doctor of medicine (MD) training from Manchester University in 2000. In pursuit of my specialist interest, oesophago-gastric disease, I studied in Japan and the United States of America.

I have worked as a consultant surgeon in the Pennine Trust since 2000 and in 2010 I joined the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust as a consultant upper GI and bariatric surgeon.

I routinely perform laparoscopic operations such as laparoscopic hernia surgery, cholecystectomy and anti-reflux surgery.
