I am a Hand and Wrist Physiotherapist at Spire Manchester Hospital. My specialist interests include complex hand and wrist conditions, neurological and spinal issues affecting the hand and wrist and clinical Pilates.

After qualifying in 2008, I worked in a variety of NHS and private settings, gaining a broad range of experience in all core areas of Physiotherapy and trained in APPI Pilates, including pre-natal and post-natal Pilates. From there I went on to specialise in hand therapy and complex neurological rehabilitation.

I have a wealth of experience in rehabilitating professional musicians and elite level athletes following hand and wrist injuries.

I use a variety of treatment techniques that can include, splinting, wound care, scar and hypersensitive scar management, exercise prescription, electrical muscle stimulation, and specific functional rehabilitation.

I also lead the Hand Therapy special interest group for all of the Spire Hospitals, where I commence and chair the yearly Spire Hand Therapy Conference.
