I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon with a particular interest in degenerative spine, brain tumours and paediatric neurosurgery.
I also have clinical interests in anterior cervical discectomy, cervical laminectomy, lumbar discectomy and lumbar laminectomy.
After basic surgical training in India, I completed my higher surgical training in Neurosurgery in Birmingham, including fellowships in Paediatric and Epilepsy surgery in Melbourne, Australia. After completing my neurosurgical training in the UK and Australia, I was appointed as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Hope Hospital and the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
In addition to my clinical commitments, I am actively involved in teaching and research to fellow healthcare professionals and he has written several publications.
