Professional profile

I completed my higher surgical training in Neurosurgery, including special training in Spinal Neurosurgery, in Manchester. Before going to Canada and the USA to complete a series of sub-speciality fellowships in Functional Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto, Canada and Paediatric and Epilepsy Neurosurgery at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada. I took up the position of Consultant Neurosurgeon at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff in 2008 before moving to Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester in August 2012.

I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon with a particular interest in spinal degenerative disease, epilepsy surgery, brain and spinal tumour surgery.

In addition to his clinical commitments,. he is. actively involved in teaching. medical students and fellow healthcare professionals, he has also. written publications..
