I am a Consultant in Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. My areas of interests are: management of advanced endometriosis and pelvic pain, advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic (uterine) surgery, reproductive medicine and surgery (infertility) and general gynaecology.
I have been a consultant in the NHS since 2010 and I work at the Central Manchester University Hospitals, St Mary’s Hospital. I trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Australia and the UK.
I am part of the North West pelvic pain and endometriosis centre at St Mary’s Hospital, which is one of the largest tertiary endometriosis referral centres in the UK. I am part of the North West Gynaecology team, which provides private gynaecology services, encompassing the entire gamut of gynaecologic sub-specialties.
I am an appraiser to colleagues and supervisor to post-graduate trainees in gynaecology. I am a trainer in advanced laparoscopic surgery and offer two year fellowships to senior gynaecology trainees who wish to pursue a career in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
I am the principle investigator for two clinical trials at St Mary’s Hospital: Pre-Empt trial (prevent recurrence of pelvic endometriosis) and GaPP2.

I am married with two children. Achieving the right balance between work and family time is very important to me. I also enjoy all sport and play tennis. My other interests include travelling, history, learning about different cultures and religions, collecting stamps and old coins, international affairs and military hardware.
