I am an experienced Consultant Dermatologist providing private consultations for patients of all ages, including babies, with a wide range of skin conditions. I understand that skin problems can have a significant emotional and psychological impact, and I take a personalised and compassionate approach to treatment to help each patient achieve the best possible outcome.
I studied medicine at the University of Sheffield, where I was awarded a prestigious undergraduate scholarship. After completing my medical training in Yorkshire, I went on to complete my specialist dermatology training in Manchester.
My NHS practice included roles at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based in Macclesfield. Alongside my clinical work, I held leadership and management responsibilities, including serving as audit lead and undergraduate lead at Salford Royal. I have also been involved in supervising and supporting the training of other doctors.
I have presented at both national and international conferences and have taken part in a number of national research projects. I regularly attend professional meetings and conferences to keep my knowledge and skills up to date, and I participate in annual appraisals as required by the General Medical Council.
I believe in providing thoughtful, patient-centred dermatology care in a supportive and reassuring environment.
