I offer assessments in collaboration with colleagues across the Spire Healthcare network to support the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other developmental and mental health conditions. I am well experienced in helping parents navigate the statutory Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) system, ensuring that the assessments completed at Spire inform in-school and at-home support.
I am a Chartered Psychologist with extensive experience working in both private and community settings. In addition to my practice, I contribute to the University of Manchester’s Doctorate Programme in Applied Educational and Child Psychology and collaborate with local authorities to conduct statutory assessments across regions from the South East of England to North Wales.
Before completing my doctoral thesis in 2019 on autism assessment and diagnosis within multidisciplinary contexts, I gained experience working with NHS multidisciplinary teams supporting the diagnosis of autism. I have also served as the Lead Psychologist for all secondary-stage Pupil Referral Units in Birmingham and led national special interest groups focused on mental health needs.
Additionally, I have presented nationally on the developmental impact of internet usage patterns, reflecting my expertise in childhood mental health. I provide comprehensive and expedited assessments adhering to NICE and NHS guidelines for autism diagnosis, ensuring compliance with local NHS trust requiem.
