I have extensive experience in a wide range of chronic pain conditions including, cervical spinal, neck pain, whiplash syndromes and brachialgia, thoracic spinal, lumbar spinal and sciatic pain.
My experience also includes other chronic pain conditions such as, atypical facial pain, trigeminal neuralgia, post herpetic neuralgia and other neuropathic pain syndromes, complex headaches, complex regional pain syndrome, cancer pain, musculoskeletal injuries and pain, repetitive strain injuries, fibromyalia, chronic myofascial pain syndrome, shoulder pain, abdominal and pelvic pain syndromes.
My clinical interests include management of neuropathic pain especially trigeminal neuralgia, chronic abdominal pain syndromes and musculoskeletal pain syndromes and radiofrequency techniques for spinal and root pains.
I am actively involved in local Foundation and Higher Specialist Pain Training and I am an active member of the Pain Training Action Group. I also organise the annual Chronic Pain Study Day for trainees and GPs. In addition to this, I am a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Observational Pain Medicine.
