I am a consultant general surgeon specialising in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery with more than 20 years of surgical experience. I practise at North Middlesex University Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, and private hospitals across London and Essex. I am known for my patient-centred approach, clinical precision and commitment to high-quality patient care. I strive to deliver surgical excellence while fostering trust and compassion in every patient interaction.

I specialise in gallstones and hernia surgery, proctology (haemorrhoids, fissures and anal skin tags), lumps and bumps, endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and change in bowel habits and abdominal pain.

My scope of practise encompasses the full range of general and gastrointestinal surgery. I have particular expertise in gallbladder surgery, all types of hernia repair, and proctology, including the surgical management of haemorrhoids. These procedures form a significant part of my surgical workload, and I am known for delivering high-volume, high-quality care with a focus on safety, precision, and patient comfort.

I teach medical students from University College London (UCL) and St George's University (SGU),Grenada and currently hold the position of UCL undergraduate surgical lead at North Middlesex University Hospital. In addition, I serve as a UCL Undergraduate Examiner, where I contribute to the academic evaluation and progression of future clinicians. I also train surgical trainees affiliated with the London Deanery, supporting their development through hands-on mentorship and structured clinical teaching. I am a faculty member for multiple Royal College of Surgeons of England courses, including CCrISP (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient). I have published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international surgical conferences.
