I am a Consultant General Surgeon offering general surgery. In my endocrine practice, I specialise in thyroid surgery (including cancers), minimally-invasive parathyroid surgery and surgery for tumours of the parotid (salivary) gland. In my colorectal (bowel surgery) practice, I perform all major bowel operations for both cancers and benign conditions.
In addition, I perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy investigations, along with other general surgical operations such as hernia repair and keyhole (laparoscopic) gallbladder surgery.
I have a particular interest in the treatment of haemorrhoids and perform the latest operation for this condition, the "procedure for prolapse and haemorrhoids" (PPH).
I trained in the North East Thames region and undertook research at the University College London for which I was awarded a PhD degree.
My special clinical interests include; laparoscopic cholecystectomy, inguinal/femoral and incisional hernias, rectal bleeding, circular stapled, haemorrhoidectomy, anal fissure and fistula, colorectal cancers, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, minimally invasive thyroid surgery.
