I have been a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon for 19 years. I enjoy the role, and the multi-faceted nature of the specialty. I specialise in laser surgery for tonsillectomy, nose unblocking, snoring, sleep apnoea, head and neck cancer and facial plastic surgery. I particularly specialise in tonsil problems, tonsillitis, tonsil stones, bad breath etc, plus nose blockage due to allergy or physical obstruction.
To date I have performed over 1,200 laser tonsillectomies under local or general anaesthetic, 800 septoplasties for nose unblocking. I've performed 800 neck tumour operations and over 80 laryngeal cancer laser resections. I have performed over 16,000 flexible upper airway examinations using endoscopes in clinic.
I have previously been Associate Clinical Director at Barts Hospital London.
I am Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of London, from where my higher degree, Master of Surgery (MS) was awarded.
