I am an experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 14 years' experience. I am an expert in the minimally invasive management of urinary tract stones carrying out complex ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy making my own tracts. I have trained and mentored my consultants in the UK in these techniques.
I specialise in percutaneous surgery for large kidney stones as well as flexible and rigid ureteroscopy and laser surgery for urinary tract stones. I have extensive experience in metallic urinary stenting for ureteric obstruction due to malignancy and this can significantly improve the quality of life in patients who have plastic stents in. I also treat Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS), Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), incontinence, general/core urology and haematuria investigations.
I have been involved with running national and international courses in this field. I also am an expert in metallic long term stenting of the urinary tract running national and international courses in this area. I have co-edited a book on urinary stents. I am widely published in the area of endourology. I also have an interest in core and diagnostic urology.

I have over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and presented over 250 national and international presentations. I have written numerous book chapters and am co-editor of a text book of urinary stents.
