I have been an ENT Consultant for more than 20 years. I treat both adults and children and deal with most ENT disorders but my main passion is evaluating and treating patients with sleep related breathing disorders especially snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. I have been invited on various national television channels to heighten the awareness of this sub-specialty.
I deal with most ENT disorders affecting children and adults. My main sub-special interest is in managing patients both adults and children suffering from sleep related breathing disorders such as snoring and upper airway obstruction as well as obstructive sleep apnoea. I have a special interest in dealing with patients with voice and swallowing disorders.
My main NHS base is at the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital, UCLH in London and at Queens Hospital in Romford, Essex. I am Clinical Lead in ENT at BHRUT, and Clinical Lead for the Sleep Unit at Royal National, Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital, London. I am Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL, Associate Professor at AUC Medical School.
I am Assistant Editor for Journal of Laryngology and Otology, and President of the Sleep Medicine Section at the Royal Society of Medicine (2009-2011). I have published extensively (more than 100) including two text books, eight chapters in various text books and numerous articles in peer reviewed journals. I have written numerous articles on treatment for snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea in the "Daily Mail" and been interviewed on LBC Radio and radio Phoenix FM.

I live in Loughton, Essex with my wife and two daughters. I enjoy playing all sports especially cricket and squash. I was a regular member of the Medical School 1st XI cricket team and also represented the school senior chess team. My more sedentary interests include music and philately.
I also enjoy charity work and have recently held an ENT diagnostic camp in India.
