I am a senior gastroenterologist and general physician. I am a highly experienced and skilled endoscopist, performing endoscopy procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy and ERCP on a regular basis. I also undertake complex endoscopic interventions, including stent insertions and dilatation.
In both my NHS post and my private practice, I have gained a wealth of experience in many areas of gastroenterology and general medicine, including the diagnosis and treatment of stomach and bowel cancer; irritable bowel syndrome (IBS); ulcerative colitis; Crohn's disease; liver and pancreatic disease; peptic ulcer and coeliac disease.
After qualifying at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, I was appointed as a consultant gastroenterologist and general physician at King George Hospital in 1999.
