Cataracts information evening

25 September 2019

By far the most common cause of cataracts is ageing of the cells within the lens of the eye. One in three people over 65 have cataracts or have had cataracts removed by surgery, but sometimes people can get them in their 40's or 50's.

Lifestyle factors, such as smoking and alcohol, can contribute, as well as a family history of cataracts.

Our Consultant Mr Venki Sundaram will be presenting on Cataracts and treatments available. There will be time available to ask any questions you may have. Please see below the format of the evening.
