I met with Graham Lawson in April to look at my knee which he had operated on 16 years before and after a thorough examination and X-rays he indicated that my knee was fine but that I needed my right hip replaced.

On the 6 June my operation took place and Mr Lawson advised that all had gone well. I was extremely well looked after during my stay by all the staff, doctors, nurses, auxiliary staff and very competent physios who emphasised the importance of keeping up with my exercise routine.  After three weeks I was seen again by another physio who increased my exercises and said I was doing remarkably well.

At my six week assessment carried out by Mr Lawson he advised that he was extremely happy with my progress and indicated that I must have worked hard at keeping up with my exercises and that I was fit enough to start driving again and that I did not need to use my sticks.
