I provide an extensive range of cosmetic procedures. These include non surgical rejuvenation such as botulinum injections, fillers and injection microsclerotherapy and surgery. Surgical procedures undertaken include face and neck lifts, prominent ear correction, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery and facial implants; breast reduction and uplift, breast augmentation, gynaecomastia correction, tummy tucks, liposuction and body contouring including after significant weight loss. For minor procedures such as cosmetic mole removal, care can be streamlined by means of a one-stop service within the Ambulatory Care Unit.
I have always enjoyed surgery and following graduation from Glasgow University I acquired broad experiences in surgical specialties to benefit my specialisation in plastic surgery. Training has taken me throughout the United Kingdom and overseas, culminating in a breast fellowship in Europe. I have been in Edinburgh since 2001.
In the NHS I have a special interest in reconstructive surgery for trauma and cancer patients with an emphasis on appearance and function. I work closely with colleagues from other disciplines and specialties to provide these ends.
