I am a fully accredited plastic surgeon on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. I started as an NHS Consultant in 2011 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where I specialised in head and neck surgery and perineal reconstruction. I left my NHS post in 2020 to concentrate on my private practice.

I grew up in Edinburgh and studied medicine at Cambridge University, where I also obtained a BA honours degree in Medical Ethics, Psychology, and the History of Medicine.

My specialist training was carried out in Aberdeen and the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow. In 2011 I spent a year on a fellowship in Australia at the world-renowned Royal Adelaide Hospital, where I focused on microsurgery and general plastic surgery.

I am interested in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. I am one of a few surgeons in the UK to have completed voluntary Cosmetic Certification by the Royal College of Surgeons, and I am certified in all aspects of Cosmetic Surgery. I am a full member of BAPRAS and ISAPS.

Special clinical interests: My main NHS clinical interests are head and neck surgery and reconstruction, advanced skin cancer, perineal and gynaecological reconstruction and lower limb reconstruction. I am interested in all aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery and in particular I have an interest in body contouring and breast surgery including breast augmentation, reduction and male gynaecomastia surgery. My head and neck background helps to compliment my interest in facial aesthetic surgery where my main interests are facelift and eyelid surgery. I do not see children in my private practice.
