Miss Nikki Hutcheon
Physiotherapist based at Spire Murrayfield Hospital
I have a particular interest in treating sports-related injuries and have completed postgraduate courses in orthopaedic medicine, dry needling and massage therapy qualifications. I also have a keen interest in working with sports teams and have experience doing physiotherapy for rugby and junior football teams both on and off pitch side.
I graduated from the University of Dundee with a BSc in Sports Biomedicine before gaining an MSc in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in 2010. I began my career working for NHS Tayside, completing a variety of rotations before moving to France for the ski season to treat winter sport injuries. In the summer months, I came back to Edinburgh and worked in private sports clinics and have continued this for the last three years. I have now settled back in Edinburgh and joined the Edinburgh Murrayfield physiotherapy team in 2018.

I have a keen interest in skiing and snowboarding during the winter months and have also completed three seasons working as a ski patroller at Glenshee Ski Centre. I am also a keen runner having completed several half marathons, the London marathon and other endurance events.
