Having graduated from University of Edinburgh in 1997, I spent several years training in general internal medicine in Edinburgh and Fife before moving to the west of Scotland to train as a radiologist. I returned to the east in 2007 with particular interests in applying CT and MRI in examining the hollow organs and in using imaging techniques in intervention and other diagnostic procedures. Much of my work is in oncology, urology and gastroenterology.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Peter Maclean at Spire include:

With three children, most spare time is spent with my family but I do play football every week and cycle everywhere I can. Music, politics, history and gardening often take a backseat to helping with homework and the local scout group.
