I completed my undergraduate medical education in Pakistan. I trained in medicine and dermatology. After completing specialist training I undertook further dermatology training at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I am a fellow of Royal College of Physicians, London. I have been working as a consultant dermatologist at Lincoln County Hospital since 2004 and had been Skin Cancer Lead for many years.
I have several publications in national and international journals. I am co-author of a book on treatment of skin diseases. I am a member of the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network (UKDCTN). I was chief investigator at Lincoln for UKDCTN clinical trials including Melanoma Lifestyle Study, Immiquimod cream in the treatment of basal cell carcinoma and Blister Trial (bullous pemphigoid).
My practice covers general adult dermatology with particular interest in skin cancer, moles and acne.
