I am a Consultant Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and a Gynaecologist. I am committed to patient care with gynaecological disorders (women with subfertility and endometriosis) and focus my clinical skills on investigations and management of female and male infertility and female hormonal disorders.

After graduating from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, I had my postgraduate training at the Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I was awarded a World Health Organisation (WHO) Research Fellowship at the Edinburgh University’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and gained my MD (Doctorate of Medicine) in Reproductive Medicine. I was awarded dual accreditation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Subspecialist status in Reproductive Medicine by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.

I have wide clinical interests which include assessment of ovarian (egg) reserve, female hormonal disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, gynaecological ultrasound scanning, egg donation treatment, and investigations and management of recurrent miscarriage. I am familiar with the management of complex infertility cases.

In addition, I am a Fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and treat patients with menopausal disorders, premenstrual syndrome and menstrual disorders.
