I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon since 2010. I have provided my patents with evidence based and patient centred consultation and surgery for shoulder and elbow problems. My expertise covers all aspects of trauma and elective, shoulder and elbow conditions.

My expertise includes shoulder arthroscopic surgery for rotator cuff tears, recurrent shoulder dislocation, SLAP tears, arthritis of the acromioclavicular joint (ACJ), subacromial impingement and frozen shoulder. I provide a comprehensive shoulder replacement surgery service.

My expertise in elbow surgery includes elbow arthroscopy for arthritis, tennis elbow and golfers surgery, cubital tunnel decompression, surgery for elbow stiffness and elbow replacement surgery.

My shoulder and elbow replacements results are available on my NJR profile. National Joint Registry, is the UK national registry to look at the outcomes of replacement in the UK that can be used to verify, validate and compare individual surgeon outcomes.

I am a keen trainer. I have constantly supervised and trained orthopaedic trainees for the last 13 years. Some of my trainees have become shoulder and elbow surgeons. I am an assigned educational supervisor for four orthopaedic trainees. In 2015 I was voted as the 'trainer of the year' by the regional orthopaedic trainees.
