Finance options

If you want to spread the cost, we can offer you access to a range of finance options that can be personalised based on what you’d like to pay, over how long and how much deposit you’d like to pay.

Using health insurance

You can buy health insurance yourself or it’s sometimes provided through your employer. Usually, a monthly premium is paid (either by you or your employer) and the insurance provider will pay for private treatment, tests and other services if you become ill – so long as it’s covered by your insurance policy.

After your treatment, your private healthcare provider will invoice your insurer directly, allowing you to focus on your recovery.

NHS funded treatment

Private healthcare providers, including Spire Healthcare, often work closely with the NHS. You may receive NHS-funded care at a private hospital if:

Your local NHS trust has contracted the service you require to a private healthcare provider

The treatment you require is covered by the NHS e-Referral Service – if you need to see a specialist or have a procedure that’s covered by the e-Referral scheme, you can choose from a list of private and NHS hospitals that provide the service you need.
