Dr Pravin Jha

Consultant Geriatrician & Stroke Physician

MBBS, MD, DIM, PgDGM, MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edin.)

Specialises in

I am a specialist for managing Stroke/TIA patients of all ages and also for problems specially affecting older people (care for the elderly). I welcome private patients at Spire Claremont Hospital and is available within 12 hours.

I have been working as a specialist for over 12 years, undergoing specialist training in General and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands.

I also run a specialist osteoporosis clinic and provide specialist assessment and treatment as annual infusion which can also be received at Spire Claremont Hospital.

In the NHS at Pinderfields Hospital and Dewsbury Hospital, I provide a comprehensive stroke service. I also offer a range of services in the management of multiple co-morbidities resulting in poor quality of life in elderly people.

I can also asses a patient at home or in care home on request. This needs to be arranged with me directly. This helps in preventing unnecessary travel of an elderly person to clinic (but may have to travel later for investigations).
