I am the proud director and the lead gynaecologist of the endometriosis centre at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. Our hospital has been recognised as an accredited British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Centre of Excellence for endometriosis management, which allows us to continue to help many women access the diagnosis and the world class care they need. Our team from several specialties has the experience to treat different severities of endometriosis in a multidisciplinary approach, offering our patients holistic, personalised top quality care.

I am a world class surgeon, and offer expert ultrasound diagnosis and management of gynaecological conditions and benign reproductive disorders. I am dedicated to helping women with endometriosis have a better quality of life and improving their fertility. I have won two international awards in the field of Endometriosis and Female Health Awareness in the USA.

I am a recognised international expert and European Board Certified Gynaecologist. I am regularly invited to speak at national and international congresses. I have a keen interest in teaching complex endometriosis surgery both in the UK and internationally. In 2019 I helped establish the Cambridge Endometriosis and Endoscopic Surgery Unit (CEES-U) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Addenbrooke's Hospital.

I graduated from Bologna University, Italy in 2009 and earned my PhD from the VUMC, Amsterdam in 2013. I was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecology Surgeon at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Negrar, Verona, Italy until 2016. I was then appointed at the Endometriosis Centre of Bologna University Hospital.

I have a strong academic interest and have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Reviews of my care can be found on authorised, verified private healthcare information websites Top Doctors and on Doctify.
