I am a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon practising at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in Cambridge. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions, including varicose veins, peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease and aortic aneurysms, using both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.

I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2010 before undertaking academic and surgical training in Manchester. Early in my career, I completed a Vascular Surgery Research Fellowship at Stanford University in California, further developing my interest in innovative vascular treatments. I went on to complete a PhD between the University of Cambridge and Harvard University, focusing on molecular imaging in cardiovascular disease, alongside research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology into advanced endovascular drug delivery techniques.

I held a NIHR clinical lecturer post in vascular surgery at the University of Cambridge (2021-2024). I completed my higher surgical vascular training in the East of England deanery (Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester, and Ipswich). Following my training, I completed an endovascular fellowship at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Klinikum in Munich, Germany, in complex aortic and peripheral vascular disease as a British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET) travelling fellow.

I completed my higher surgical training in vascular surgery across the East of England including Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester and Ipswich, before undertaking an advanced endovascular fellowship in Munich, specialising in complex aortic and peripheral vascular disease.

Alongside my clinical work I have held an NIHR Clinical Lecturer position at the University of Cambridge and remain actively involved in academic research, with a particular focus on improving outcomes in vascular disease through innovation and technology.
