I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Cambridge specialising in minimally invasive urology with a particular focus on laser prostate surgery, urinary stone treatment and general urological conditions. I practise privately at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and Spire King’s Lynn Clinic, alongside my NHS role at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
My clinical practice focuses on the effective management of benign prostate enlargement (BPH), kidney stones and urinary tract conditions using advanced minimally invasive techniques. I am also experienced in treating urinary tract infections, urinary symptoms, testicular and scrotal pain, as well as a wide range of general urology conditions including circumcision and vasectomy.
I qualified in Greece and completed my basic urological training at the University Hospitals of Athens. I undertook research with the university, leading to my Thesis on the function of a-adrenergic antagonists. I then further sub-specialised in endourology and laser prostate surgery at the University Hospitals of Leicester and in 2011 I joined the Urology team at Whipps Cross Hospital in London. In 2014 I took on the substantive post of Consultant Urological Surgeon at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
