I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital with a specialist interest in kidney stone disease, endourology and general urology.
I have particular expertise in the surgical management of complex kidney stones, including ureteroscopy and laser stone surgery, as well as the investigation and prevention of recurrent stone disease. I have a strong interest in prostatic diseases including treatments for benign prostate enlargement.
I have been in clinical practice for over 15 years with a broad experience in general urology, uro-oncology and endourology. Having completed my doctorate in prostate cancer through the University of Cambridge, I completed my higher surgical training around the East of England. I completed a one-year fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand after finishing my UK training before returning to work full-time as a consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
I have written and contributed to a number of urology textbooks on emergency urology, stone and prostate disease particularly. I teach on numerous urology skills courses including national courses on ureteroscopy and endourological skills.
