I have wide experience of managing patients with foot and ankle disorders. I did my undergraduate education at the Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore, India and thereafter Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at various hospitals in the East Anglia Deanery, UK.
I completed a Foot and Ankle fellowship at Florida, USA with Dr Sanders, renown for Trauma and Foot and Ankle surgery. I ran an independent Foot & Ankle unit at Kings College Hospital, London for four years and thereafter took the challenge to set up a similar one at the Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
I teach at the Royal College of Surgeons and also at other teaching programmess. I am a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS).
I have published numerous papers. I was the clinical tutor for Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Hinchingbrooke Hospital for five years and also a review editor of Foot & Ankle International, an international journal specialising in the management of Foot and Ankle disorders.
