Mr Rajan did his undergraduate education at the Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore, India and thereafter Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at various hospitals in the East Anglia Deanery, UK.
He completed a Foot and Ankle fellowship at Florida, USA with Dr Sanders, renown for Trauma and Foot and Ankle surgery. He ran an independent Foot & Ankle unit at Kings College Hospital, London for four years and thereafter took the challenge to set up a similar one at the Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
Mr Rajan teaches at the Royal College of Surgeons and also at other teaching programs. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society(BOFAS).
He has published numerous papers. He was the clinical tutorĀ for Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Hinchingbrooke hospital for five years and is also a review editor of Foot & Ankle International, an International Journal specialising in the management of Foot and Ankle disorders. He has wide experience of managing patients with Foot and Ankle disorders.
