  • Pelvic pain
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncologist based in Cambridge, providing specialist private care at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and Spire King’s Lynn Clinic, alongside my NHS role at Cambridge University Hospitals. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of a full range of women’s health conditions, from common gynaecological concerns to complex gynaecological cancers, with a strong focus on delivering personalised, evidence-based care.

My clinical practice covers all aspects of general gynaecology, including the management of heavy menstrual bleeding, irregular periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and vulval conditions. I understand the significant impact these conditions can have on quality of life, and I work closely with each patient to develop a tailored treatment plan that prioritises both symptom relief and long-term wellbeing.

I offer advanced surgical options, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures using the da Vinci surgical system. This cutting-edge technology allows for greater precision, shorter recovery times and minimal scarring, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. I am an accredited robotic surgeon with the Society of European Robotic Gynaecologists and an accredited trainer in robotic surgery, ensuring the highest standards of surgical expertise and education.

I am a sub-specialist in gynaecological oncology, with extensive experience in the management of cancers affecting the ovaries, cervix, uterus, vulva and vagina. I am one of a limited number of specialists in the Cambridge region offering advanced care for these conditions, including complex surgical treatment and ongoing cancer management. My particular interests include the early diagnosis of cervical cancer (the focus of my PhD research) and the use of cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer.

I also run a high-volume NHS practice performing major cancer surgeries weekly and am part of a leading colposcopy service.

Alongside clinical work, I am actively involved in research to develop more sensitive tests for the early detection of HPV-mediated cancers.
