MBBS, MD, FRCS (Eng)
I have been a consultant upper gastrointestinal and general surgeon for 14 years. I was the lead upper GI surgeon at the Nort West Anglia NHS Trust until 2012. I completed my higher surgical training in East Anglia from 2006 and specialise in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery.
I specialise in benign upper gastrointestinal surgery which includes anti-reflux and achalasia surgery. In general surgery, I have a vast experience in laparoscopic (keyhole) hernia surgery and gallbladder removal as well as upper GI endoscopy.
To date I have performed over 2,000 gallbladder removals, 2,000 laparoscopic groin hernia repairs and more than 1,500 gastroscopies in both my NHS and private practice.
