I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of hip and knee conditions, including arthritis, sports injuries and soft tissue knee injuries. I regularly see patients from Cambridge and the wider East of England who are seeking expert, personalised orthopaedic care.
My clinical practice includes hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery and knee ligament reconstruction, to name a few. I also treat complex knee cartilage and meniscal injuries, with a strong focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain and helping patients return to an active lifestyle.
I completed advanced orthopaedic fellowships in Australia, Italy and the United States, as well as at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, before gaining my Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) and taking up a consultant post within the NHS.
I have a particular interest in enhanced and accelerated recovery following joint replacement surgery, minimally invasive orthopaedic techniques, and improving the long-term success and durability of hip and knee replacements. Wherever possible, I use evidence-based surgical techniques and personalised rehabilitation plans to support faster recovery and better outcomes.
