Having been appointed to my NHS consultant post at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, Papworth Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn in 2008, I am also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London. I have extensive experience in all aspects of neurology, including headache, pain, dizziness, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, neuropathies, memory problems, movement disorders and multiple sclerosis.

I conduct several specialist clinics for hereditary neurological disorders, including ataxia, neurofibromatosis, movement disorders and spastic paraparesis.

I participate in the training of students and young neurologists and regularly give lectures to students, junior doctors, GPs and consultant colleagues.

I am actively involved in clinical research, including clinical trials and supervision of PhD students and have published more than 30 articles on various neurological topics, as well as co-authored several book chapters.
