I am interested in all aspects of ENT and will happily offer the full gamut of routine Otorhinolaryngological procedures. I do have a specialty interest in laryngology (disorders of the voice) and head and neck, including thyroid and parotid surgery and minimal access surgery with transoral laser surgery.
I have been a Consultant since my appointment in 2019 at Queen Victoria Hospital. Prior to this I was awarded two competitive travelling fellowships; The College Family Memorial Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and The Peel- Rothwell Jackson Postgraduate Travelling Fellowship. These allowed me to undertake an advanced Head and Neck Surgical Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Australia.
I have undertaken several hundred advanced head and neck procedures within my NHS practice.
In addition to my clinical work, I have published widely in the medical literature, have been invited to write book chapters, and routinely review for the journal Clinical Otolaryngology.
I am the specialty ENT editor for the Journal Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, where I ensure only the highest academic standards are met in order to be published in the world of literature.
I am the Head and Neck cancer lead at Medway Maritime Hospital, Medway NHS Foundation Trust and the ENT lead at Queen Victoria Hospital.
I am also faculty on several courses, teaching the next generation of ENT surgeons.
