I am a Consultant Urologist at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford and have held this role since February 2016. I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1998 and completed my specialist urology training before being accepted onto the GMC Specialist Register in May 2014. Alongside my clinical work, I spend one day each week working as a lecturer at Kent and Medway Medical School.
I see patients with a wide range of general urological conditions and have a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones, lower urinary tract dysfunction including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and overactive bladder (OAB), blood in the urine (haematuria), recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
I offer a range of urological procedures and treatments, including flexible and rigid cystoscopy, bladder Botox injections, circumcision, hydrocele and epididymal cyst surgery, kidney stone treatment, transurethral resection of bladder tumours (TURBT), transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and laser prostate surgery.
Over the course of my career, I have performed more than 700 TURP and laser prostate procedures, 800 TURBT procedures, 1,000 ureteroscopic stone removals, 1,000 circumcisions and 1,000 scrotal operations. My aim is to provide patients with clear information, personalised care and treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
