Vulval disorders Psychosexual support
I have been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2004.
I specialise in general gynaecology with an interest menstrual disorders, menopause, vulval disorders, adolescent gynaecology and psychosexual health.
I have a wide experience in general gynaecological surgery with a current focus on hysteroscopic surgery for treatment of heavy periods without resorting to hysterectomy. I am developing outpatient treatment as an option of women to avoid a general anaesthesia. I am a trained Colposcopist and perform regular colposcopy sessions in line with national guidelines.
I am currently the Intrapartum Lead for Medway Hospital but have background in Clinical Governance and Patient Safety.
I am the Educational Supervisor for Foundation Year 1 doctors as they come into the specialty from medical school in the first year of being a doctor.
