I graduated with distinction from King’s College London and subsequently trained in London and the Southeast as well as a period in Sydney. I completed my research at King's College London. This used echocardiography to assess the effect of cardiac pacing. I have published and presented internationally. I have NHS practices based at Medway Maritime Hospital and at St.Thomas’ Hospital.
I am a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist with specialist expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disturbances, coronary angiography, pacemaker implantation, defibrillator implantation, electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablation. I also have an interest in echocardiography, the management of valve disease and cardiac function during chemotherapy.
In addition, I provide treatment and investigations for cardiomyopathy, inherited heart conditions, hypertension and heart failure.
I am certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE), and am a member of the Royal College of Physicians, British Cardiac Society and the British, US and European Heart Rhythm Societies.
