I am a Senior Colorectal Surgeon with over 20 years' experience at Consultant level. My areas of interest include surgery for advanced and early rectal cancer, recurrent cancer, haemorrhoids and faecal incontinence.
I am a consultant surgeon at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, lead colorectal surgeon, and lead of the department of digestive surgery.
I studied medicine at Cambridge University and undertook my surgical training on the St George’s surgical rotation in London.
I am a specialist colonoscopist and am one of only three accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopists (the UKs highest standard for colonoscopy) in Brighton.
My clinical interests include: Colorectal cancer, early rectal cancer, advanced colonoscopy, benign anorectal disorders, colorectal polyps, pelvic floor surgery, abdominal pain, chronic constipation, faecal incontinence and other benign anorectal problems including haemorrhoids.
