BSc(Hons), MBBS, MRCP, PhD
I am a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Sussex Cardiac Centre, Brighton. My clinical expertise encompasses the management of all general cardiac conditions including chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, valve disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I have a specialist interest in the management of coronary artery disease and aortic stenosis. I use diagnostic tests including ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. Besides this, I also perform cardiac procedures including coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasty and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
I graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 2008. I undertook training in large tertiary centres in London including The Heart Hospital UCLH and Barts Heart Centre. I then undertook a 3-year funded PhD research and interventional fellowship at MonashHeart, Melbourne, Australia in collaboration with University College London. I remain active in research and education and I am an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Brighton & Sussex Medical School.
