I had a discectomy, bone graft and fusion surgery on 4 Feb 2017 at Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend. I was shown to my room and the whole procedure was carefully explained, with a chance for me to alleviate any fears.
The surgery was a complete success, post care was exceptional. I felt special, a person not a number. I stayed in hospital for two days and was discharged with ample dressings, stockings, appointments and contact numbers.
My ‘all inclusive’ package included three months of excellent physiotherapy, such as I have never experienced.
Would I recommend the Wellesley? Yes!
