I undertook a basic surgical training programme at St George’s Hospital, London followed by an orthopaedic programme at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Middlesex. I have been a consultant at Southend Hospital NHS Trust since 2000 and practice general orthopaedic and trauma with a special interest in shoulder surgery.
