I have been a Consultant Neurologist since 1993. I established the neuro-rehab team in Colchester and headache clinic at Barts Health NHS Trust. I am the Former Medical Director of the National Migraine Centre. I believe I am an opinion leader in headache and migraine.
I am a general neurologist who audits practice carefully with a database of 28,000 patients over two decades. I am experienced in the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin. I lecture frequently and have a large medico-legal practice.
I am primarily a diagnostician. I diagnose and treat the following conditions: Headache; migraine; cluster headache; cranial neuralgias, fits, faints and funny turns including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (current clinical trial work), Parkinson's disease, peripheral neuropathy, neuromuscular transmission disorders (the subject of my MD thesis) and therapeutic botulinum toxin.
I lecture often for BMJ Masterclasses, Infomed, Headache Masterclass and Conference Plus.
I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GPs letter of referral.
Availability: I am available for appointments at the Spire Wellesley Hospital on Wednesdays from 8.30am - 5pm.
