Mrs Helen Stevens

I have over 20 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of ward based patients. I have spent the last 17 years specialising in Intensive care and post-surgical care. I take pride in my holistic patient-centred approach to physiotherapy and put my individual patients needs and goals at the forefront of everything I do.

My areas of expertise include; respiratory, post-surgical, orthopaedics, cardio-thoracics, gynaecology surgery. I have completed an MSC module in intensive care rehabilitation, as well as advanced courses in the management of the altered airway, dry needling, leadership level three, hydrotherapy foundations, cardiac surgery. I also completed a year’s secondment in clinical governance.

I have gained a wealth of clinical knowledge over the years and apply this to every clinical situation to gain the best possible outcomes for my patients. I like to think I am friendly and approachable and make good rapports with patients easily.
