I am a fellowship-trained complex Spinal Surgeon and work at Wimbledon Clinics as a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. My practice includes all aspects of spinal surgery, including surgery for cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral pathology. I have special interests in adult and paediatric spinal deformity, metastatic spinal disease and spinal trauma.
I qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1994. Having completed my basic surgical training, I went on to carry out specialist training in orthopaedics in the South West Thames region. As a Spinal Surgeon, I regularly perform microdiscectomy for disc prolapse, spinal decompression for stenosis and spinal fusion (cervical and lumbar) for neurogenic pain. I am also skilled in performing complex spinal trauma and tumour stabilisation, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty for spinal tumour/osteoporotic fracture and fusion for scoliosis/kyphosis.
I am the Clinical Director for the surgical directorate at St George's and was the President of the St George's Hospital Medical School Rugby Football Club.
